about

Danielle Towers is a photographer pursuing a career in the arts and publishing.

Danielle graduated this spring with a BFA in photojournalism from the Corcoran School of Arts and Design at the George Washington University, where she received the Distinguished Scholar award and had the honor to address her peers at graduation.

While at GW, Danielle was Co-President of GW’s National Press Photographer Association (NPPA) chapter and worked for GW’s main student publication, The GW Hatchet as a photo editor & photographer, as well as a communications assistant for the university.

Danielle has held internships with photographers Clarissa Bonet and Jared Soares, both of whom offered her hands-on experience with fine art, commercial and editorial photography. Through NPPA’s mentorship program, Danielle has had the opportunity to learn from photographer September Dawn Bottoms.

Danielle’s photos have been published by AARPBloomberg Businessweek and Stereogum and her work has been exhibited at Photoville (NYC),  Touchstone Gallery (D.C.) and at The Corcoran Gallery of Art (D.C.)

Danielle is available for assignments and assisting work.
